thanks a lot this was fantastic 10/10

the bad thing with solar power if major climate changes major volcanoes erupt or enough bombs are dropped, thus goes our power (no sun=no power). becoming dependent on a iffy technology is not a good idea. i think alot of our “power problems” are simply companies not expanding to fit the number of consumers (like lagg on the web).

  3. yuppybarf says:

also it would be easily more possible for terrorists to disrupt power supply by using stuff like massive amounts of smoke.

  4. yuppybarf says:

if anything and do to its low voltage per cell creation, solar cells should be good for recharging batteries.

  5. yuppybarf says:

thats another bad thing with this idea, lets say at the given rate of conversion we finaly after 20-30 years convert to solar, but by then its too late and major climate changes have occured and thier are too many clouds blocking sunlight caused by pollution.

  6. hermancando says:

well u need to have hybrid systems employing the sun-wind-electric grid-water powered sources use the best of all to-gether

I invented a breakthrough source of energy which violates the law of energy conservation. I have a PROOF (based on the Maxwell’s equations) that there are electrodynamic phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation.
In mass production, making a 6kW generator will cost $1200, value of the energy produced yearly $5400. I am looking for $6M for a prototype and patents.

Such massive amounts of smoke can’t be generated that easily.

Come on man, don’t just give up like that, the world can’t move forward with such pesamistic thinking. Plus, the only places heavily impacted by smog & heavy pollution that blocks out the sun are mayor cities. Do the math, what percentage of the world are mayor cities. I myself have no idea but I can guess its less than 0.0000001%

Very informative video! According to a report, solar energy has the capacity to meet 15% of US electricity demand by 2020. Transformer company, Pacific Crest Transformers has whitepapers on the renewable energy market in the United States. As energy demands increase, markets for these sources will only grow. Pacific Crest Transformers has articles on the renewable energy sector in the US. Visit their site and read more

Solar Power will become a great energy resource in the future! Here in Hawaii – we have lots of sun and many people are choosing wind turbines, and solar panels as a great alternative to oil, coal and natural gas! Clean energy is the future of the world! See pristinesun . com/what-we-do.html for information on how to save 20% on your electrical bill every month & get solar panels installed for free for your business or non-profit co. in any state in US! Aloha & Mahalo!

@vancova haha, im doing solar energy for a physical science project too!

if you really want to make something work here it is take a parabolic solar concentrator and send light into a mirrored cone shape focal point then send that light into mirrored glass tubing which will send the light into a mirrored box with solar panels in it the solar panels must be cooled by spinning or cooling get to work

did you know solar Panels only last 20-25 years IF YOUR LUCKY! then its Toxic waist..
    >>> It is estimated that a ton of SF6 equals a greenhouse effect of 25,000t of CO2. SF6 can be reduced to sulphur dioxide (SO2), the emissions of which can result in acid rain. Overuse of SF6 can undermine climate change targets by the use of solar power, as SO2 emissions create a high greenhouse effect. <<<

@henrykay01 if it contradicts the law of energy conservation then you obviously miscalculated it.
