our website www.mwands.com RAPTOR GENERATION4 BLADES BY MISSOURI WIND AND SOLAR. We made this film the day after the tornado hit Joplin. All we got here in Seymour was 85 mph winds gusts. The wind turbines were cranking on the store roof but they survived. My heart goes out to all those that died in Joplin. Friends of mine went there to help out anyway they could. This is tornado alley and we see alot of them. It’s not unusual for us to get 95 mph straight line winds through here. Whatever you have is gotta be tuff or loose it. Jeff

www.greenpowerscience.com This is a larger Stirling engine that has a 12v DC Permanent Magnet motor operating fixed as the flywheel bearing. It produces 15 Volt max with NO LOAD. This setup as is produces about 15 watts. The heat sink is a water cooled tank that is a bit short for the displacement piston but does work. I will be adding some heat sinks soon and testing it with the 56 inch dish and a Fresnel Lens. The motor/generator has an additional pulley that the other engine I have may be tied to. The water can be fed continuously or as a tank.

50kW wind turbine installation, Maple Honda, Maple Ontario

Maple Honda will install a private wind turbine at its new dealership in a unique partnership with Power Stream. In keeping with leading edge technology pioneered by Honda Motor Co. Maple Honda has taken the innovative step of integrating energy efficiency in an automotive work place. “This is a new venture for both Power Stream and our leading regional automotive dealership. Our goal is to provide a tangible model for alternative energy options in Ontario. The Production of wind energy creates no air pollution and, if the turbines are sited properly, has minimal environmental impact.” says Mr. Zanchin. This is the first commercial-scale use of wind power to generate electricity in the region. The wind turbine will provide supplemental wind power to Maple Honda, and will produce approximately 110 MWH/Yr-which is the equivalent of powering 17 homes. It removes 82.5 tons of CO2 emissions/Yr and is completely Canadian made. Maple Honda will open for business in early fall 2006.

Winds of change in Marsabit County

Several companies both local and international have been licensed to begin construction of wind power plants around the vast county. The Marsabit County council has already allocated hundreds of thousands of acres of land to the national power generator Kengen and other private operators. NTV’s Rita Tinina reports on the development that could uplift living standards in the area.
